Specialty Award of Merit Winner at the CVC Specialty - 2007. VCA All
Star Review Winner - 2006. Cutter is the First In History to win Best In
Review. The debut event year for the Vizsla Club of America to showcase the
best dual individuals in the breed. To qualify, a Vizsla must have a conformation
Champion (CH) title and a field title of either Field Champion (FC), Amateur
Field Trial Champion (AFC), Master Hunter (MH) or NAVHDA Utility Prize I.
From the early age of 6 months, Cutter started competing in Field Trials and
earned his first points in Open Derby. By the age of 3, he earned his Field
Championship and Amateur Field Championship. Cutter was awarded the
Vizsla Club of America’s Amateur Gun Dog of the Year - 2008. He was
awarded both the Vizsla Club of America's Open Gun Dog Award and
Amateur Gun Dog Award - 2009. In 2009 for his Dog Of The Year
Awards, Cutter accumulated more points than any other Vizsla in
history for both titles. That same year Cutter started the season in
explosive fashion by winning the Southeastern Continental Breed
Championship, the First Vizsla to win this event, earning his American
Field Champion (FC) title.
At the age of 8, Cutter was still competing and winning - in March of 2011,
Cutter won both the OLGD and ALGD stakes at the CVC Field Trial. At the
age of 9, he was still placing at National level events. Cutter continued to
love to compete, run and hunt for birds to the age of 10. After Cutter retired
from competing he enjoyed hunting for the Wounded Warriors and
enjoyed hunting on the farm. At the end of his field career, he accumulated
over 137 AKC placements (50-1st, 40-2nd, 28-3rd, 19-4th).

First and foremost, Cutter had the most lovely temperament. He is just a happy
dog that loved living plain ol' daily life with his wonderful owners Clint and Val.
Despite all of his national acclaim, Cutter could care less. He wanted to lick
your face and jump into your lap for snuggle time.
Cutter had nice conformation. He is very beautifully balanced, front and rear.
He had a manly body with bone and substance (not to mention a lot of muscle).
His movement was light and graceful, covering a lot of ground as he goes.
